We're Just Stupid Not to Exercise
We're just stupid to think it's acceptable not to exercise. Another day, week, month or year has passed us by. We still haven't gone to the gym, walked, worked out and exercised in some way, shape or form. That's just stupid.
Does the stupid word offend you? Have I offended you,too bad! Trust me,I have achieved just stupid many times over, when I put off the life saving action of exercise for another day. I finally said no more, and began exercising consistently. The same with countless others.
We offend our heart, brain, body and everything else in between, when we don't exercise. That's just stupid. The least we can do,is take the stairs at work,or park far enough away while running errands, and in all probability we didn't do that. That's just stupid.
I am speaking to us and I know human nature well enough, because I'm all too familiar with my own imperfect nature. Don't give me that I'm whole, perfect and complete crap. Tell that to your surgeon when you are lying on the operating table getting prepped for bypass surgery.
Stand in front of the mirror the next time you get out of the shower, what do you look like? Sixty percent of us in America are overweight and out of shape. We appear to be a chronically ill nation. Where are you in this line-up? I know I have mentioned this before,it bears repeating.
I care, that you will care about your health. That you will care enough to get out and exercise, today! God made the body you reside in,do you,do we remember?
When will we wake up,and seriously commit to taking control of our health through the immutable benefits of exercise, eating right, eating our daily servings of fruit & vegetables, getting enough fiber and drinking enough water? Not to do these things is just stupid.
Why do I always see people that shouldn't,but are, drinking huge vats of soda? That is just stupid. Listen to your Doctor, she or he cares about you. Again, start caring about yourself. That is an order!
It's never too late to start exercising. We have every morning, day and evening in front of us. We have tonight, after work and this weekend.
I know what it took for me to get back to swimming. There is no easy answer, except doing it. Start, begin now and today.
I'm writing this for all of us,for you. You matter, you make a difference in the world. You contribute everyday by the life you live!
