There are many reasons why exercise is important to one's well being that we all know about. But 60% of Americans don't exercise regularly. We are too sedentary. We go to work riding in a car. We spend most of our working time sitting on a chair.
At home, we sink ourselves in the easy chair or the couch. Whenever we need to to cut the grass in the yard, we're riding on the lawn mover. We go to the store in our car even it's 2 blocks away. Most American meals are served in big portions and we still need to supper size it. We over eat and under exercise Is it hard to see why our society is so overweight? 4. Exercise plays an important role in maintaining bone mass. Women can reduce the risk of osteoporosis by increasing bone formation and delaying bone loss through regular exercise.
5. Exercise regularly helps older adults to have more strength, better balance and better coordination.
6. Exercise increases joint flexibility and make it better to move.
7. Exercise helps detox the body through sweating and improve skin complexion.
8. Exercise also helps in reducing stress, clear the mind.
